Agromillora Florida

Agromillora Florida, located in Wildwood, applies the most advanced technologies and innovative production processes to the citrus rootstocks released from the breeding programs of the University of Florida (UF) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that are tolerant to citrus greening. Agromillora was founded in 1986 with headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. Ash Grove South, part of CRH Americas Materials, is the second largest cement supplier in the state of Florida with two world-class cement plants – one located in Sumterville, FL and the other in Branford, FL – as well as an import facility in Port Manatee, FL. Brite Leaf is a family owned and operated containerized citrus nursery in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. They have been selling to commercial growers since 1998, and were involved in the citrus industry for many years prior to starting their nursery. Cal-Maine Foods, Inc.

Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., located in Bushnell, Florida, is the largest producer and marketer of shell eggs in the United States. In 2018, they sold approximately 1,037.7 million dozen shell eggs, which is approximately 20% of domestic shell egg consumption. Their flock of approximately 36.3 million layers and 9.6 million pullets and breeders is the largest in the U.S. In addition to the local egg production facility, Cal-Maine also has a separate feed mill operation in Bushnell to feed their poultry.

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated is part of the Great Southern Wood Holdings, Inc. family of companies. Great Southern Wood Holdings owns or is affiliated with a diverse portfolio of companies operating in both domestic and international markets in the areas of building products production, manufacturing and distribution, sawmill operations, and transportation and logistics through trucking operations. Best known for their Yellawood brand of pressure treated pine products, their Florida operation is based in Sumter County.
