Wildwood’s downtown Railyard is under construction

According to Wildwood officials, the project is expected to bring new dining and entertainment venues to the downtown area. Located a block south of the city’s new Main Street Parking Garage, the Railyard will feature indoor and outdoor areas for the public to enjoy food, drinks, entertainment and recreation.

2025 Sumter Student Hiring Fair - EMPLOYER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Sumter County Schools will be hosting a Hiring Fair for Students on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Wildwood Middle High School in Wildwood, FL. Twelfth graders from South Sumter High School, The Villages High School, and Wildwood Middle High School looking for employment upon graduation will be invited to participate. Juniors from all schools are also invited to participate in the event for possible summer employment or part-time/OJT options. This is a great opportunity to network your business with potential employees.
