Debbie and Gary Forney may be retired, but they’re as busy as ever living in The Villages. Debbie takes part in cardio drumming five days a week, and Gary regularly bikes more than 100 miles a week. The Village of Fenney couple also often spends their nights enjoying entertainment offered at the town centers or with the friends they’ve made in the community. The opportunities in The Villages were a driving force behind the Forney’s decision to make the move south from Cincinnati.

Over 1,500 leading manufacturing and supply chain suppliers were in attendance to learn about the latest trends-such as traditional equipment, sustainability, workforce, automation and robotics.
Sumter County is currently embarking on a one-year process to update its Land Development Code (LDC). Simply put, the LDC contains the standards for the use and development of land within the unincorporated portions of the County, and covers topics such as zoning, building standards, parking, signs, environmental regulations, and many others.
